Introduction and project overview
BVM Contracting took over this project from a company that was not equipped to handled the project management of a custom home addition project. The client was an investor looking to flip the home by building a custom home, but was only at the demolition stage when they made the decision to work with us. From there, we used our design-build capabilities to get them the design the needed to create a easily sell-able home with the budget they had. BVM Contracting used our 20 years of residential construction project management experience to help the investor get back on track and sell the home for a lucrative profit.
This outstanding home started out as an 900 square foot bungalow. The foundation was extended from the back of the home, allowing us to double the footprint. Adding a second story addition essentially quadrupled the living space. As an investment property, we stayed on a tight timeline and are proud to say the results speak for themselves. This stunning showcase home located in the Scarborough Bluffs, commands a breathtaking view of Lake Ontario.
