Consultations are free of charge and we aim to provide you with a high-level overview of project costs to help you evaluate your options for renovating or building in Toronto.
We are able to provide EStimated pricing before drawings are created by completing the following four activities:
We discuss and drill down into the scope of work for your project. Would you like to install radiant floor heating? What type of kitchen would you like to install? Do you want pot lights in all of your bedrooms? All of these questions will be answered and will help us get an accurate budget for your project.
With our database of recently completed projects, from basement apartment renovations all the way up to 5000 + square foot new home construction projects, we will be able to give accurate pricing based on previous projects with a similar scope of work.
Having great relationships with sub-contractors, vendors, and material suppliers allows us to make quick contact with industry professionals that can help determine the exact cost of their specific activity in the scope of work.
Getting as much information as possible about the home or property that is being renovated or built on to determine existing conditions and property factors that might affect construction. We usually ask for MLS listings, existing floor plans (usually from past real estate listings), pictures, and/or home inspection reports to gain as much information as possible about the property (though if you don’t have any of this information you can still reach out and we can discuss other ways to get enough information). Bonus points if you have an updated survey of your property but it is not a requirement for this step of the process!
Whether the proposed renovations are a legal basement apartment renovation, home addition or extension, or new home construction, all of these types of renovations and everything in between can be priced using this method.
